The way i handle Christmas and Thanksgiving for that matter is each holiday is only one day . You don't celebrate Thanksgiving the entire month of Nov nor Christmas the entire month of December. But on Thanksgiving day and Christmas day i can eat what i want. Merry Christmas to you and Happy New Year!!jinxxxygirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12349344319328467284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7973475516749804394.post-47530530138166117012011-12-21T09:09:23.060+00:002011-12-21T09:09:23.060+00:00Hi Sara

See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quality_Street_%28confection%29

These little beggars are 'childhood in a tin', and every one of the numerous varieties is just too darned nice.

Of particularly tempting yummyness is the Toffee Penny (semi-hard sticky toffee in a gold wrapper) which can whip the fillings out of your teeth in seconds... but tastes ooooh so creamily good.

Must stop before I dribble over the keyboard :-)

Have a lovely Christmas (think of you and your son and enjoy it) and I wish you every good thing for 2012.

Cheers
DenizDenizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09633002838343992787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7973475516749804394.post-80203332256735127382011-12-16T19:32:18.096+00:002011-12-16T19:32:18.096+00:00I must know what this "Quality Street" o...I must know what this "Quality Street" of which you speak is. Too lazy to google it, but I imagine it's some kind of diabolical confectionary genius from across the pond...

I'm so glad you've got a handle on the holidays. I can't tell you how often I admonish myself with the "fat lass" term of endearment and think of you...

:)

Thanks for all your encouragement lately (and always!) i can't be grateful enough!Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07030297848102418558noreply@blogger.com
